i came across it after receiving my forty millionth call from the same guy with an alternating really bad polish/russian accent. i typed the phone number into google.

apparently they're on finch ave if anyone wants to pay them a visit/exact retribution.

Who doesn't get calls from them in the GTA. My favourite is Reggie. I like to think of them as collector cards. ;)

i agree with the collector comment. these recordings are precious. any idea how i'd get them into my ibook from my cordless handset? it has a jack for headphones, but the ibook doesn't appear to have any way to get audio in.

i'd like to do something with them in garageband.

i'm still looking forward to the day when i get a call from Tugboat Bill.

We've had lots from Boris, Yanoosh, and Reggie, as well as one or two from Paul and tugboat Bill (American accent). Names and accents change but when they give out the phone number it's always the same...

I used to get annoyed by the Best Price Movers messages, but now I get a kick out of it. I still like Yanoosh the best.

Now we're getting calls from First Contact and it sounds like the same guy. Has anyone else heard from them?

I've received messages from First Contact. Do they have the same # as Best Price? I find them more annoying as they are using the 'you may have already won' marketing ploy which is too disceptive. :mad:

does anyone get the short wierd message with the guy saying something like 'ballots drawn have been selected' or something like that? is it the same people?

TMR, that's First Contact, I think. That one doesn't even amuse me, it just makes me angry!!

hahaha....too funny. I only heard about this last week when my friend made me listen to it.....it gets Boris all the time. I thought it was some kind of weird Burger King subliminal advertising or something because Iwouldn't of thought a russian business man would actually talk like that in an advertising message!

I'm in east scarborough, I've never recieved any of these calls, it helps that I never answer the main phone line during the day (mobile only during the day), or if the call is unrecognized, but I would expect voice mail to pick it up at least one of these.

Guess I'm Lucky, but I do get a hell of a lot of tele-marketing calls from others, i just wish they were more creative like these winners.

Just received a message from Yanoosh. Man, he was in fine form! He almost sounded like a parody of himself. They will move either factories or aquariums he informed me... :D
