Has anyone taken a chance with Logitech's MediaPlay (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=3,CONTENTID=9340) cordless mouse? It's a comfortable, decent-looking cordless mouse with extra buttons for play, fast forward, etc. and a 10-foot range — but the box says PC only.

Somebody wrote an article (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20050115114547231) describing how he got it to work using USB Overdrive, although most of the extra buttons don't work. I'm curious to see if anyone here has any experiences with it on OS X.

Logitech is a weird company, some products they make have mac drivers, some don't. How hard is it to write drivers for a mouse? Their keyboards with media butttons are supported in OSX why isnt this mouse? LAZY
