Does anyone know how to change the default volume in Quicktime?
Every time the player opens it's always 100%, unlike all the other media players like VLC, iTunes, Real and WinMedia that remember where I left the volume the last time I used it.

Jordan, Apple is just hanging out waiting for you to buy Quicktime Pro so you can save individual settings for each of your movies. graemlins/heybaby.gif

I do have Quicktime Pro, but the default volume is still at 100% every time it's opened.
I've searched Apple and the internet and still no info on this.

Jordan, I was being slightly facetious in my answer. I'm sorry it wasn't really helpful. You are no doubt aware that the lack of the feature you require is a well documented 'shortcoming' in QT Pro that annoys many others.
Unfortunately, the situation is as written; you have the option to save audio and video settings for a particular movie (File/Save ) and that's it!
Some people claim to have written to apple, suggesting this feature be included. I don't know if apple react to this input but it could be worth trying.
best regards, kermit.
