This is the first time I have had this problem with iDVD 4.01. I am using a Dual 1ghz G4 with stock superdrive. I am trying to encode a movie I have made and burned a couple of months ago. I wanted to remake the movie with a new menu, the movie will just sit their and not encode. I have reinstalled iDVD with no change. I am using 10.3.3 any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Try trashing the prefs and the iDVD project file in ~/Documents. Then re-do the iDVD project again and see if it works.

wonderings - To trash the preference file, go to your user folder, open the Library folder and then the Preferences folder.

Delete the file called: "com.apple.iDVD.plist", that is the iDVD application's preference file.
