Does anyone know where I can buy like a box version of games like solitaire, backgammon, mahjong etc for OS X?

It would be nice to find a box version like the Hoyle games or something where there are like 10 games in a box sort of deal. It is for my dad who likes to play mahjong and backgammon but not online, just on his Powerbook offline. Who would carry such games locally?

Thanks!

I don't know about "boxed" sets, so I'll give you some alternatives.

I "shelled out" $20 USD for this Mahjong game...I know, not cheap, but the game is very well done. Download the free demo.

I also have this one:

tough games, cool music...I think I got this free from .Mac. Free demo also available.

No experience with OS X Backgammon games, but there's a few listed at Versiontracker (http://www.versiontracker.com)

Dude... let me know your address and I'll send you my unopened copy from MacSoft...

I'm feeling unusually nice today for some strange reason...

FreeVerse Software makes a wide selection of those kinds of games, and most of them can be played online with their family-safe game matching service, GameSmith.
