I'm usually a total softie for this stuff - but I made it through. Maybe my head is still too full of this thesis I'm editing...

Meh, move along folks, nothing above average to see here. Certainly no tears, just normal people doing normal things.

Has the bar dropped this far on tears? MacDoc, do you cry when you get a free ticket on Scratch'n'win?

You got me, MacDoc. Could not make it through #6 without crying. Seeing the other pics and inserts did not help matters much. Still, tears are helpful at times, so merci mon ami. Paix.

No tears here either... some of them were touching though.

Sorry to see a cartoon dog being put through such paces, but I have never known a dog so loyal that it would not happily move on to others who treated it kindly.

Also, Animal Crossing routinely sends out letters from "Mom" generated by the game itself. Sorry to break it to the author.

A true story.

Yes, these stories are remarkable because they are so rare.

I always liked the story of Patsy Ann, who greeted ships in Juneau:

Telling...very much so

Horatio:
O day and night, but this is wondrous strange!

Hamlet:
And therefore as a stranger give it welcome.
There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio,
Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.

Hamlet Act 1, scene 5, 159–167
