: Stream BBC iPlayer to ATV3

I was just given an ATV3 as a birthday present - lucky me.

I've got everything running EXCEPT I can't work out if its possible to stream the BBC iPlayer output from my MBP to the ATP. The iPlayer works fine on the MBP (I use un-blockus) but I can't see any way of shunting the signals up to the ATV.

Is there a way that anybody can advise? I find the BBC are the best way to watch F1 - you get a great commentary and no ads, so I would like to see the races on a big screen if possible.

Thanks

Walt

Well if you have updated to Mountain Lion and have a 2011 or newer Mac you can use Airplay.

I have updated to ML, but I run on a Unibody MBP - a 2008 model.

I can airplay lots of stuff on iTunes, but I have an iPhone 4, so I don't think that supports mirroring.

I guess I'm out of luck.

Did you try AIrParrot (http://airparrot.com/)?

Well, I hadn't 'til you mentioned it.

Downloaded a copy, ran it in trial mode and its exactly what I want. So I've bought it - thanks for the advice

Another satisfied customer!! Much cheaper than a new computer too.

Ha, yeah a little cheaper than my new Retina. :-) That said, mirroring to my AppleTV works like a charm now. Glad I could be of help.
