: Safari Toolbar won't customize

Safari has started working like a political promise lately....broken.
For some reason I am unable to customize my toolbar. I used to have the google search window in there and no matter what I do in the settings it will not re-set.
Anyone else run into this glitch?
Advice?

You're going to have to give us more information.

What OS? What version of Safari?

There isn't a separate Google search field in Safari 6. It's integrated with the address bar field.

Thanks. Not sure I like that change. May be time to use Firefox as my default
Cheers

It actually simplifies things considerably and leaves more room to put other customizations up there if you choose. Oh well, haters gonna hate.

I don't hate it, but I do dislike it. It is a stupid modification that makes zero sense to me, but fixed easily by positioning a google link in the far right end of the bookmarks bar, which I did immediately upon discovering this change. One had to click in the Google window before to activate it and that same single click allows direct typing into Google when the window opens. ;)

I also don't like how sometimes, when I want to do a Google Search, it pulls up my history and suggests a site that I visited instead of Google searching the term.
