: Mountain Lion - Boot Camp

As in a previous post, it looks like my only option for successfully getting bootcamp to run is to upgrade my OS. Unfortunately, I do not have access to my snow leopard disk and I really want to get this running.

I've already made a backup (mind you in Snow Leopard) and a separate back up of important files. I haven't worked with Mountain Lion before, but I wasn't overly impressed with Lion that's why I haven't upgraded. I just want to make sure that I can successful run a Windows 7 boot camp without any problems. AKA it will successfully download the Windows support files that I cannot download currently, which is extremely frustrating.

Should be no problems, its still a supported feature in Mountain Lion:
Apple - OS X Mountain Lion - The Mac is PC-friendly. (http://www.apple.com/osx/what-is/compatibility.html)

Lion certainly has better Boot Camp support for Windows 7 than Snow Leopard. Boot Camp Assistant now downloads the Windows Support Files, so they're more likely to be up to date than the ones that came on the Snow Leopard DVD.

I assume ML operates in the same manner.
