I gather that I have to be a member for 30 days before I can post in the Classifieds.
So - I am posting here. I live in the Calgary area and am trying my darndest to get RAM to upgrade my mom's iMac G3 600. I need two sticks of PC-100 or PC-133, 512mb each.
Anyone know where I could find some? A person on Kijiji answered my ad...but the woman's son had 128 and 64 MB.
I'll check on ebay.ca - but would love to find someone more local.
Thanks for reading!:)

Not local to Calgary, but I've dealt with Canada Ram (http://www.canadaram.com/). Excellent service.

More specifically: Canada RAM sells memory in Canada - Apple Macintosh iMac G3 Bondi Blue & Fruit-flavored (http://www.canadaram.com/apple_imac_g3.htm)
At $34 for a 1GB kit, it won't get much cheaper. :)

I'd go with CanadaRAM again. Quick prompt service.

Why not upgrade your Mom's mac, while you're at it?
I mean, she's your Mom and all, right?

Thanks everybody! Sorry I took so long to reply!
I ordered the RAM from eBay but will bookmark the site mentioned for sure!
@HowEver, I would have loved to upgrade her Mac, but $ was a bit of an issue! However, she is happy with just checking email and paying her bills through her bank account, so she is happy.
Of course, I saw a "gooseneck" Mac on Kijiji lately for $50. Slight scratch on screen and the DVD drive was pooched. She doesn't use the drive anyway - and one can always buy an external drive.
To be honest, I am a self-employed tech and have worked mostly on Windows computers. But even just researching Mom's iMac I learned a lot.
Like - no CMOS battery. Change RAM or unplug and I had to get Firefox on the taskbar all over again.
Thanks so much again!
