I just updated to the new safari and noticed a few changes.
first - they have combined the address bar and google searching..
took me 5 secs to figure that out LOL

but one thing they did move and can not find it any where..
delete cache option..
has anyone figured that out?

Hello,

I found the answer, as many on other sites are asking the same question. You will find a way to Empty Cache by first, activating the Develop into the Menu, you will find the Empty Cache inside the Developer Menu. Such a strange place to put it. Wonder why Apple did that?

If a mod has a moment, could we create a "Safari 6" thread?

Just upgraded to Safari 6 on my MBP running Lion. I'll move to Mountain Lion in the next day or two - but at the moment I'm stuck in a bus station for a couple of hours.

One new feature - could be very useful - under Safari Preferences we now have a "Passwords" pane... will this put 1Password out of business?

scary thing with apple is.. it is in clear text - which is bad if someone figures out the password to your computer.

Hm. And here's something I *don't* like. The new implementation of tabs - leaves no empty space on the tab bar. I've long used the double-click in the tab bar to open a new empty tab - now you have to either use the keystroke (Command-T) or click on the "+" sign at the right end of the tab bar. :(

welcome to the world of ipadification. Seems - that 4million sales of macs vs 25 million + idevices = everything will soon be iOS to the reluctance of the few that still want a full blown system.

Exactly how do you do this? Where is the developer menu?

I agree, but right clicking on the tab bar gives you a new tab option.
