I don't know... these Siri celebrity ads are not really doing it for me. The conversations with Siri don't seem very authentic... I think if people bought an iPhone expecting to have a whimsical, totally natural conversation tone to them where you can say just about anything, they'd be highly disappointed.
What you think?

I think it's okay to play around a bit, it's a commercial.. And I enjoyed this one. I mean, this is the guy who _directed_ Taxi Driver.

They do what they need to do—brand recognition, and tacit approval by the liberal arts crowd. These celebrities are no slouches either. Remember when they had Jeff Goldblum? If you have Brundlefly's endorsement, you've got the geek culture. And remember a time when Justin Long and John Hodgman weren't instantly recognizable for the faces of Mac guy and PC guy (ironic since they were both employed by Apple)? Apple knows what it's doing in the advertising department, no worries there.

I've never been chased into a bar by a bunch of beautiful women like in the Capt'n Morgan commercials, either. The lack of authenticity doesn't reduce my enjoyment.......
