Hi there,

I have an early 2008 (8,1) 24" iMac 2.8. It comes with the stock 2gb ram and 320gb HD. It's in flawless condition and comes in the original box.

What do you think this baby's worth?

I was thinking $900.00. This includes a brand new wireless keyboard and Magic Mouse. As I mentioned it's in flawless condition and comes in the original box.

Reasonable?

My own opinion--a bit steep for a 4-year old computer against a $999 refurbished iMac 21.5-inch 2.5GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 with 4GB memory and a 500GB hard drive. Given a choice, I would go for the refurb--not quite enough incentive to go used.

4 years older yes but still an extremely capable machine. It also has a larger screen and a $230.00 price difference. It also runs SL painlessly....

Yes. I'm just saying that if I were in the market, I would jump for the refurb and the warranty. I would start to get interested in the older one around $750.
