jimwww Jul 8th, 2012, 01:19 PM My Norton anti virus has found a virus on one of my drives and says it does not have permission to it. The other drive has had the virus and it was purged. I made the same mistake years ago as well and had Norton on the Mac. If you want to check for malware, run ClamXav ClamXav (http://www.clamxav.com/) It's slow but it doesn't mess up your Mac - the viruses it might find, if any, are Windows ones that you inherited from your Windows friends. jimwww Jul 8th, 2012, 09:26 PM It is uninstalled. :-) | |
