Hmmm... I thought that subject seemed to sound somewhat familiar and such drives are a bit too rich for my needs.

Heck, I have no trouble with the speed of my 1TB WD Black and it's spinning platters that I sometimes even have trouble keeping up with it.

Yeah does seem overkill but for some the big space and speed is needed for their apps.
We have one wanting to put 3 x 480s in an iMac.
Now he'll likely want 3 x 960s :eek:

We have one coming in to play with but a little bird whispered waiting 2 weeks will see a 10% price drop ;)

I just upgraded to Rogers Extreme and in conjunction with the 6g SSD - it's truly a pleasure to work online and movies are superb.

Who would have thought - 16 gigs and 2 TB of SSD in a lappie.!!!! :yikes:
