I tried playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on my wife's Air with the HD3000, wow, the performance is really, really good @ native resolution and default settings. The HD4000 is supposed to be about 60% faster too. I'm on the market for a Mac notebook for myself to replace my Dell Vostro V13 I absolutely hate at this point but don't know which one I want yet. Obviously gaming is not the biggest factor but it would be very nice to kick back with a game every once in awhile.

The 13" 2011 Model refurbs (1.7 i5/4gb/128gb SSD) are $969 at Apple. A really decent price if you don't need USB3 and Intel HD4000.

The one good thing about the 2012 models is that you can finally upgrade to 8GB of RAM for another $100.
