Canadian youth hockey coach arrested for tripping player in postgame handshake line (http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/highschool-prep-rally/canadian-youth-hockey-coach-arrested-allegedly-tripping-player-111332663.html)

It's an incident that seems as un-Canadian as anything imaginable: A youth hockey coach in British Columbia has been arrested after being accused of tripping a 13-year-old opponent in a handshake line after the teen had helped defeat the alleged perpetrator's squad."The coach was arrested. Charges will be forwarded at a later date, pending the results of the investigation." RCMP Sergeant Paulina Gidda told the Canadian Press. "It was an incident that was unfortunate, and it doesn't bring a great light to our community."

Actually he was the winning coach,
here is a link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OETfWGtoLiM) to a longer video, it also states that the player broke a wrist in the fall.

"To the victor go the spoils", but this is absurd. He did not slip on the ice, as he claims.

Yeah from the video it was obvious he had vengeance in mind. He didn't even shake hands with any of them except the goalie. He just stampeded right towards that kid and tripped him! He better be fired, fined, and made to pay the kid's medical bills.

There's no reason for such an act.

If he slipped, i'm 10 ft tall!!

What an idiot! Not only did he avoid looking at any of the kids you can tell he wasn't even shaking their hands. Just brutal.

And ehmax, i'm with you - I'm fairly laid-back but I'm also fairly sure I would've snapped & when after that guy.

He should be charged criminally, made to pay for any medical bills or time off the parents need to take to run their kid to the hospital or to therapy sessions and he should never be allowed to coach ever again.

Idiots such as this need to be made examples that this behavior is intolerable.
