Attended the Apple Store Masonville (London Ontario) grand opening and got a free tshirt. It wasn't too busy (less then 1000 people).


The store is quite big and is "apparently the largest in Canada for now".

Just wanted to share some photos for those who are interested in seeing the 23rd Apple Store for Canada.

I went and had a look today. It was nice to be able to get a first hand look at the 15"MBPwRD (SJ would never have approved such a clunky name).

The place was pretty full with the novelty of the store having just opened but I wonder how long that will last since that area historically has been kind of the dead zone of the mall…

I would bet that an Apple store is very capable of bringing life to that part of the mall even once the novelty wears off. Only time it would likely be dead is the middle of the day during the week.

I'm still surprised that with all of these openings, Ottawa still only has one Apple store, in a location that's only convenient if you ride the bus...

I believe the Bayshore mall in Ottawa is getting one shortly.
