My Dad passed away in November 1998 and I miss him everyday. Cherish every moment.

My dad's been gone since 1988 although it seems not nearly that long. I am a fortunate man in that my three children got to know him before he left and today we will remember him together. Happy Father's Day to all you dads.

On mothers day I went with my kids to visit my moms grave - they never met her, but today I am lucky to have my kids and I have lunch with my dad.. It's a great Experience.
Amazing how you miss someone when they are gone, so enjoy the nice and not so nice moments while you can.

At least my dad is treating for lunch. LOL

My dad died from brain cancer 17 years ago. My dad was an avid bird watcher and always took me bird watching which made me feel like I was the luckiest kid in the world. Everytime I see a bird while cycling it seems like the old man is watching me.

It's easy to become a dad, but much more difficult to be a dad.

My wonderful children made my breakfast this morning and served it to me in bed, while my sweetheart baked banana bread, made me hot tea and told me to stay off my feet! My son and I did cut the lawn and did some trimming outside (I like a nice garden!) and I treated myself to a Starbuck's coffee - thanks to my kids who gave me a $15.00 gift card and a chocolate bar to share (of course!) later on today.

Watching soccer now while helping son to configure his new MacBook (that took about 3 minutes. Wow, I love Macs).

All in all, a fabulous day. It is great to be loved!:clap:

Today was my first Father's Day as a dad. It was great.

We were already at my wife's parents place spending the weekend and we then went to my parents place for supper tonight. So my daughter got to spend it with all of her grandparents, aunts and uncles and I got to wish my father and father-in-law happy father's day.
