My telus account is still active. If i put my sim in an ipad 3 will it work?

Not for long term, just for testing a used unit. I will get an ipad plan when and if I buy an ipad 3.

I'm just nervous about not being able to fully test a used ipad.

Yes it should work. I did the same thing with my iPad.
Worked like it should without a problem
