D-Day, June 6th, 1944. I can only imagine what those men felt when approaching the various beaches along the French coast, especially in those first few waves of landing crafts. Still, it was the final step in trying to end the war in Europe.
Lest we forget.

As my father failed to show up for D-Day duty as he was a D-Day Dodger in sunny Italy.
Caution irony and satire are employed in this video as well as some strong language. The words were from the troops themselves.

It looks like a good movie, Dr.H. Any person who stormed those five beach heads under contstant enemy fire deserves our gratitude and respect. I am not sure I would have had the courage to do as they did.
