I went out to see it at Varsity Stadium at the U of T. They were handing out souvenir mylar glasses to about 5,000 people. Venus was a tiny pinpoint on the sun, but it was worth seeing, just of the novelty of the thing.

Sadly, it was raining here and we had no opportunity to see it. Had to make due with the TV version.
