I'm wondering what my options are as far as wifi goes on a 800mhz Titanium PowerBook are. I know it has the plain old Airport in it. Is a cardbus card or USB wifi dongle my best bet. Any chance wireless N could be supported?

I used a card bus card successfully with a TiBook but at the time wireless G was all that was available. As far as I know the thing is still being used by a grad student ;). I do remember I took the original Airport card out - can't remember if I had to remove but I wanted it for an iBook project.

I would think a USB dongle is your best bet. I used this one (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/NewerTech/MXP2802NU2C/) , which works brilliantly.

Thanks... I found a list on Lowendmac but it's hard to find those same cards. And some need this "OrangeWare" software but it looks like that site might be hacked. Id really like to not spend much to get this going.

I think the whole wireless N advantage would be kinda negated by the USB 1.1 the TiBook has.
