I have a 15" mid 2009 Macbook Pro with 2.8 Ghz and 8GB ram and 500GB Harddrive. I purchased the Lion OSX from the app store 2 days ago and downloaded it(I just got an iPhone and wanted to use iCloud). All went well until this morning and now Safari will not open (I am currently on my other Macbook). The Safari address bar comes up blank and has a flashing cursor and says "Go to this address". When I type in an address is will accept the typing in the bar but the blue bar will advance about an inch and then that's it. I do not have Mozilla on the computer so Safari is my only option. I can however access the App store and I can access the iTunes store through iTunes? I have tried disk utility repairs and verify. My Safari current version is 5.1.7 and the Lion is 10.7.4.
Any thoughts, ideas or help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
