HI everyone,

I'm not sure if this is where to put this question but I'm really hoping someone can help me.

I have tried to find the answer on YouTube and it just frustrates me.

They have phased out the old account passwords but now I don't know how to sign into my old account. Someone commented on a video I posted but I can't see how to log in to respond.

Frustrated!!

Thanks in advance.

Just a thought but maybe try the password recovery process?

it is tied to a google account now, so you have to pair your youtube account to a google account (I used a gmail account), I did mine some time ago and can't recall the process but I do remember it was not as simple as I thought it should be.

went into effect at the same time that google's new privacy laws kicked in.

Yeah, I've now got a Google account but I forget why. But, it's not linked to my YouTube account. I was managing to keep them separate. Now, though, I tried logging in to my old account and it's telling me something like I can't use it anymore. Logging in takes me to the Google account. I'll see if password recovery might work and dig in my notes to see if I have it written somewhere...it certainly isn't just coming up like it used to in the auto fill.

If you had it linked to another e-mail account, that might work, too. Mine is linked to a non-Google e-mail account, and I can still get in that way, using the same password. Hope this helps.
