I have a PC and a MacBook Pro. I run windows live mesh on both to sync my Documents folder on the PC to the Mac. Yesterday, on my mac, I noticed that although all the folders in the Documents main folder, were showing, none of the contents were accessible. It was showing the folders were empty. There were a couple of files in the main Doc folder that I could open but that was all. There were also two of my windows partitions showing on the Mac (two that I had never seen before on the Mac) and I tried to open a file with .vsp ext and got the "ball". Tried to shutdown a few times and got ignored, but finally it shutdown.
Meanwhile I had turned off the PC and the internet. Lo and behold when I restarted the Mac all the files in the Documents folder were back and accessible.
I know most of you are PC-phobic, but the puzzle is that the files appeared again without being re-synced as 1: there was not time, and 2: the Mac was not connected to my network when it was restarted. Any thoughts?
