: Share does not exist???

I run 4 external drives off my Airport Extreme server - one for Time Machine, one for VIdeos, one for audio and then a 2TB that backs all the other 3 drives up.

Recently, one of them failed. No problem, my backups are backed up.

But, I've started getting a message "There was a problem connecting to the server Base Station "xxxxxxxx"
The share does not exist on the server. Please check the share name, and then try again."

My guess is that something somewhere is looking for the missing drive - but I my be wrong. This message stalls the boot until you press the OK button, and then it messes up the load of the remaining disks - I now get multiple copies of the external drives on my desktop.

Is this a problem caused by a drive going missing? Can anybody offer any advice of where to go to correct the instructions to connect the drives to the server.

Thanks, guys

Walter

Any chance that there's some setting in your Airport Utility that needs to be deleted or changed??
