Hi Everyone:
Opinions please. I'm an amateur who would like to expand my abilities. I was a decent system to learn with. I would like to know if this system, by Future Shop, is a good one o start with. Please help. Thanks for your anticipated thoughts! https://www-ssl.futureshop.ca/en-CA/secure/weeklyad.aspx?path=2ea85f9ccfac41e73c66ed0a6992c0f 7en99

PS: I don't know how to link it any other way! Sorry about that!

Thanks again.

I bought a similar set. It may be a "beginner SLR", but I love it. It takes an amazing picture and is easy to use and learn. Great deal!

The 75-300 lens isn't very good. You are better off buying the kit that has the 55-250IS lens.

Hi All:

Not as many people responded as I'd first thought. Thanks for the link Canada Ram! Works like a dream. I need to learn how to do that properly. Anyway, since that offer is 'over', I'm wondering what beginner SLR camera anyone has any ideas on. Any thoughts on the new 'pen' style - such as the Olympus and everyone else that now has one out there? Eventually, I want to get a superzoom and take closeups of items far away - mainly animals, etc. I'll also be using whatever type of lens catches decent action shots since my kids are extremely involved in sports. Any further thoughts without confusing me? I AM A BEGINNER. I don't understand much about lens lengths, apertures, iso speeds, etc. So please speak to me as if I was a 5 yr old. Thanks!
CC
