If you're using any POP email accounts, I'd strongly suggest using a proper save/recover method to keep all the status stuff intact. Have a look and read at How to Back Up and Restore Mail in Lion | Mac|Life (http://www.maclife.com/article/howtos/how_back_and_restore_mail_lion) You don't want to end up with ALL your restored email messages showing ALL as unread, or loose any!! ;) I believe as broad said, any IMAP email accounts should be fine. But don't just go mucking about with the Finder in your Users Mail folder without understanding completely what's involved to keep things as expected. | |
