Our first-generation 40GB AppleTV hasn't been used ever since we upgraded to the newer model, so I'm thinking it might be great in a home where someone wants to make full use of having movies/music on a hard drive rather than streaming. Comes equipped with the original remote and the power cord.

I already have one (160 gb model), but this model is great to store videos on and tote along to the cottage for rainy days! Sure beats a backpack full of Dvd's.
