MacBook Air in-store configurations

Can anyone confirm the MacBook Air configurations available from the B&M Apple Stores?
Specifically, is the 11" / i7 / 128GB model available in store, or do the bundle the i7 and 256GB SSD together?

Stock configurations are only available in Apple Stores. If you want any custom Mac (with i7 or 256 GB SSD), then you will have to order it online. The only MBA with 256 GB SSD with stock config is the high-end 13" model, with a 1.7 GHz ULP Intel Core i5 dual core CPU, & 4 GB of DDR3 RAM...

Nope, the 11" i7 with the 256 SSD is available in the store. At least one member here picked one up at Sherway. There are a number of configurations available from the Apple Store and I'm wondering if the one I want is available.

Perhaps they must have some custom configs available in store now.... As you can see the stock configs online, there is no i7... It is BTO...

Just give the the Apple store(s) closest to you a call and ask what they have in stock... easy peesy. As the ad for the Yellow Pages used to say back in the day... "let your fingers do the walking".

EDIT: I just read the thread... He does not necessarily say he got that config.... He just said he got his Macbook Air... That does not confirm that he got that config with i7/256 SSD...
Ask him if he did though....
Yep I did get the 11" 256, i7, twice at Sherway Apple store. The first one had a dead pixel and they promptly gave me a new one. If you are unsure, give them a call and they'll tell you whats in stock, that's what I did.

Ok. Thanks for the confirmation.... I live near the Sherway Apple Store, so I could easily go there if I wanted to...

I went today and can confirm that they're selling three configurations of the 11" model: the two that are on the website and the fully loaded one that gtgt picked up. I ended up getting the i5 with the 128GB drive.

It's about $1865, assuming you're from Ontario. There's an additional recycling fee in addition to the HST (can't remember exactly how much).
