macbook professional keyboard replacement
So I bought a macbook pro today (2.53 ghz core 2 duo) for $100 bucks. It was said that it was not working in the ad due to water spilled on the keyboard. I brought it home as I still thought $100 bucks was amazing and low and behold I turn it on and get a chime.
The screen came on and it came up with a question mark (no bootable drive). I knew this as the seller kept the 320 gig that was in it. I put in my SL DVD and it booted fine off of that, so I ripped over to staples and bought a 320 gig drive on sale. I came home, and installed SL on the drive. Everything works well except the keyboard is completely DOA. Non of the keys work so I use an external keyboard. How hard is it to replace and or is it costly??
Besides the keyboard I have a macbook pro 2009 with 4 gigs of ram, 320 gig HD, superdrive 15" glossy screen for $190 bucks. Bye bye Powerbook G4!
