Cuing Playlists on a Mac

This isn't really an iTunes question. It's the opposite, really. I wonder if there is an app that will take the songs I highlight in Finder and play them all in a row for me. I hate having to drag and copy stuff into iTunes that I don't really want in iTunes long term. Am I making sense?

If you are looking at the files in Finder, why not just tap the Space Bar and preview the song in Quick View?

HOWEVER: occassionally I have in the past provided links to instructions or illustrations. I will not do so in future, in fact I will not be offering helpful advice for free just to have my words pirated until the sleazy ad linking desists. I will, however, answer PMs.

+1 that suggestion, and you can even select a bunch of songs and push spacebar and it will play the selected songs.

I think what you're looking for can be done on VLC.. Select the files, once you have VLC and then right click on them and choose "Open with VLC."

I'm not exactly sure if that's what you're looking for, but it may offer you more than iTunes is.

I tried that before I posted but when I select more than one song and 'Quicklook' with the spacebar it won't change to the next song automatically. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

I forgot about VLC I'll use that. As long as it doesn't make copies of anything.
