wireless 3g modem

I have a 3g wireless usb modem, I am wondering if I can plug that into an airport extreme base and get it to create an internet connection for all the computers in my house? If not could you make suggestions for a router that will do this, as I do not want my kids pulling the modem out when I do not want them to.
