Problem with TaxFreeway -- It seems if you accidentally click "Cancel" on the initial dialog box that opens with the program asking for the product key -- then you don't have any further opportunity to enter the product key to enable the program. Not even if you delete it and re-download it. All the support documentation says is "Now enable the program with your product key". No mention how.
Has anyone dealt with this before, and do you have the magic formula to get the dialog back again?
To further that, the .plist is likely in Library/Preferences in your home folder.
But that's odd, as it asked me to enter a product key every time I launched it. Also, are you sure there isn't a Register command in the application menu?

Thx
Thanks for the tax reminder.
I just downloaded 'TaxFreeway for Mac 2009' and hit the 'Cancel', then if I quit TaxFreeway and open it again I get the option to enter a registration number, which I haven't done for this year yet.

There isn't a Register command in the application (or a useful Help menu for that matter)
I searched through all the Library Preferences and Application support folders and could not find a .plist file I could identify.
Anyway, gave up after 4 re-downloads and numerous attempts. After shutting the iMac down for the night and opening it the next morning, it worked, for no apparent reason.
It wasn't a problem of not having the key, it was a problem that it should have popped up the dialog to enter the key but it refused to.
