Inquiry: Apple Wireless Keyboard & Time Capsule Dualband WLAN

Got a question. Did Apple ever make an Extended Wireless Keyboard that was for sale individually from the iMacs?

The current models are cute looking but I'd prefer to use the right side numerical keyboard. Hmm, although using the more compact model will force me to use the upper numerical keys on my uMB; I just noticed that MB/MBP don't have numerical keys on the letters like other Windows based laptops do.

My other inquiry is regarding the TC dualband wlan. Are there any all in one alternatives to this with such a small case?

Thanks.

this took about two seconds worth of searching on apple.ca

Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad - Apple Store (Canada)

bluetooth keyboard with numeric pad

as for time capsule to my knowledge there is nothing out there smaller that does the same thing and also definately nothing that is approved by apple for wireless time machine backups

umm ... ^^^^ that's not a wireless keyboard.

AFAIK Apple never made a new style wireless extended keyboard.

It looks like they made one at some point according to this review, but I can't find one at the Apple store:

Ever since the introduction of the aluminum keyboards, there have never been a wireless model which retains a numeric pad.

The last wireless model to include both wireless and a numeric keypad was discontinued almost three years ago.

Most stores carry both D-Link and Linksys routers which include Dual-band Wireless, however they are around the same price as the Apple Airport Extreme.

Therefore if there are any that also include a NAS they would be very similar in price to the Time Capsule, I would imagine.
Get the Apple Time Capsule, you won't be disappointed.

This assumes you are looking for alternatives based on price.

You could also look into buying a separate bluetooth keypad like this Microsoft model.

STAPLES | BUREAU EN GROS

It matches the thinness of the Apple model, but is black.
