New 27" iMac - i5 Model

Just picked up an new 27" iMac i5 Model today.
Standard config with 1 TB and 4 GB RAM.

It seems to be pretty quick.
I am really liking the Wireless Keyboard and the Magic Mouse.

I used Migration Assistant only for my Accounts and documents, not for any applications.
I wanted to get a fairly fresh start.

Lots of work to do to get things configured but so far (as usual with Apple) it is going very smoothly.

I love my i5 iMac. Consider getting it to boot in 64-bit mode. Much Faster performance-wise.

I haven't got that far yet.
How do you get it booted in 64 Bit Mode?

There's not much benefit to booting into 64-bit mode - it only means that the system kernel and kernel extensions will be 64-bit. In regular mode, applications can still run in 64-bit mode, as does the majority of the system.

^^^ This is my understanding as well that there is not really any significant speed bump from booting into 64 bit.
