I recieved an iSkin Keyboard protector for my brand new PB 15inch... what a useless gift!

The iSkin is rubber and you put it over the PB keyboard to protect it from spills... I tried typing over this rubber, and it was nearly impossible...

What a useless gift... Anybody else find iskin useless?

We have the ones for our iPod's. I am grateful because the protection is good. Ruins the nice look, although they are far from ugly.

We also have the iSkin for our eMac's keyboard. It does slow typing down a bit, but my teenager, who is a very speedy typist, has become used to it. We lost a keyboard through spillage, so it's worth it and not useless in this context.

Notebook keyboards are a different animal, with a lot less movement. I suspect I would not like it on my PB.

It is what it is, I will say I find the iSkin keyboard protector useful in the sense that is saves the screen on my PB from being marked/scratched by the keyboard itself when closed during travel.

I use an anti-static cloth to get the dust off and if it's uber dirty, I use plain water (a damp cloth) since chemicals can ruin the anti-glare coating of an LCD screen.

Monster Cleaner is designed for screens (LCD, DLP, CRT...)
So it shouldn't hurt, right?

Just a damp cloth. Tried the Monster cleaner on my old TiBook and it wasn't any better than the damp cloth.

So do you guys think the iskin will be annoying to use on a wireless keyboard. I've been thinking of getting one because the keyboard's design causes junk to get all in it.
