I can't speak to your nikon, but your macbook pro power adapter is designed to work with the different power inputs, all you need is an adapter. On most electronic devices the power adapter will tell you what power input it can take. Make sure to check this on each device, it will say something like 110v-220v. This will tell you if it can work with the native power output. If it doesn't say anything like this, make sure to get a Converter, not just an adapter, so that you don't fry your electronics, but your macbook will be fine with just an adapter.

Please correct me anyone if I am wrong, but I have used my macbook in many countries with differing power outputs with just an adapter.

Yes - MacBook/Powerbook etc. - all you need is the adapter. We were in France, Switzerland and Germany 2 years ago and we just bought one of those multi-country adapters at Future Shop and it worked for both our Mac laptops and our battery chargers.

The Nikon battery charger is the same - all you need is the adapter. If you Google "Nikon D300 + battery charger + 220V" and hit the cached version of the first link (can't see the non-cached version unless you want to join the forum) you'll see a discussion of this issue.

I went to Germany for a month a couple years ago. All of my Apple products (iPhone, MacBook and MacBook Pro) used worldwide power supplies (120V/240V 50/60Hz). Most portable electronics these days use these types of power supplies for this reason (your Nikon likely does as well, but do double-check). Go to The Source (Radio Shack) or even a dollar store to pick up some adapters cheap. I picked up a handful for only a few dollars.

Ued both my Pismo and G4 Powerbook in Paris with just an adapter. Just fine--and lots of free Wi-Fi!

if you want to be fancy apple sells a travel kit that has different plugs that fit onto the end of the converter:
Apple World Travel Adapter Kit - Apple Store (Canada)
but yes, you can plug the converter into an adaptor as well (they'll have them at places like europe bound for a couple bucks) and you'll need one for your camera charger anyway...

Yikes...$50 for a set of power adapters? That only work with Apple products? No thanks!

I've got one of these:

Buy the Travel Plug Adapter at TigerDirect.ca

It's a very neat little unit - the plugs for the different regions pop out. There are other manufacturers who make something similar, though this is probably one of the most compact units I've seen.
