I'm sure this isn't the only reason for the store being down, but Aperture 3 has been announced.

I think MBP is very likely considering the BestBuy news (Current MacBook Pro Models Deleted From Best Buy's Inventory System? Updates Imminent? - Mac Rumors)

I also hope for a new MacPro, so I can pickup a current gen for cheaper.

Was just on the US store. Didn't see any MBP updates. Just looked at the 13" though.
