Amazon.com has it for $114 US + $4.99 shipping, so almost $10 cheaper; everywhere else I looked online had it on for more than SIG.

I don't know if Microsoft is going to update this beast anytime soon. It was updated fairly recently: but, people are definitely still having some issues, so they had better update it again.

I have heard a lot of horror stories about how buggy office 2008 is: but, I am running it on Snow Leopard and really don't have any problems here. Just stay away from the stupid new file formats when you save(.docx, .pptx, or .xlsx). By the sounds of things that's where people have run into some serious problems.

Especially stay away from those .docx ... formats if you intend to eMail to someone without first converting to pdf. Chances are sooner or later one of the victims of those eMailed attachments will come after you with something a lot nastier than a cream pie.
