Passport application not working on Macintosh?

The Passport office allows current passport holders to apply for renewals on-line. We tried filling out the application twice, It looks OK on the screen but prints only pages 1 & 2 of the 6. The real part of the application is pages 5 and 6. We also tried printing out a blank for hoping to at least fill it out by hand. Same thing, pages 1 and 2 only.

I called the help line and they claim it's my Mac or Abobe Reader or my printer. The printer works fine, prints everything. Adobe Reader is Vsn 9.1.2 and our Macs (we tried 2 different machines, trying to grasp at straws ...) have OS 10.5.7.

The agent on the phone, a Neanderthal Windows user, blames Macintosh. I think this is BS and I'm angry.

I could be wrong, but last time I checked about an on-line application for a passport, I found something about it only working with Internet Explorer. I have found in the past (my wife used to enter a fair number of contests online) that there are a few idiots out there that have managed to program a site that only works with quite possibly the worst internet browser on the market. Unfortunately, the Canadian Government may be to blame here.

Try spoofing the User Agent to Internet Explorer under the Develop menu in Safari 4 or the Debug menu in Safari 3.

When I did mine (successfully, on my Mac), there were detailed instructions on how to set the margins. To me they seemed counter-intuitive, but in the end, it worked just fine. The text goes right out the edge of the page and everything should fit. I can't remember, but I think I had to use Firefox, not Safari.

Thanks for the tip. It still acts the same way.

Thanks for the suggestions and help, we did it the old fashioned way and we're done.

The old fashioned way is the way to go - but you could have just used Interbleech Exploder. I know IE is bad, very bad, but I keep it on the system for times like this...
