Any of you use a laptop case with your Mac, which one and where did you get it? Got anything good/bad to share? I got a unibody 17'' MBP that's going to see some use. |

I have an old Targus bag, pretty traditional with a main padded section and outrigger pockets. It is made of leather, provides adequate protection for the machine and when I go to see a client lets me carry everything but the kitchen sink. It has provided serious service to whatever my main my main laptop has been over the years.
I went to Factory Direct when they had a laptop bag sale and picked up a really cheap bag ($3.88) for my PB 1400. It's purpose is to(a) keep dust off of it and (b) give it some protection going to and from a coffeee shop. If you are on a real budget, you can't beat the price.
My daughter got a bag, don't know the make, that is all leather, but looks like an open top business valise, or large size purse. Her thought was she wanted a good bag, wanted to look business like, but did not want to advertise that she was with a laptop.
In the long run leather wears well and stays pretty clean.
