Question

I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice for a project I have. I've got to create a presentation, and am unsure what's the best choice for software.

I have the latest Appleworks and I know it has a presentation program in it but I'm not really familiar with it. I've had a look and it seems a bit limited. I've looked at what Apple.ca has to say about Keynote, and it seems good, but I'm not sure I want to spend $159 yet.

I'd like to be able to share the finished presentation, so a platform-independant export option would be important. I don't know if it's possible, but if I could export presentations into iMovie or iDVD and burn them onto a DVD that could be viewed on computer / TV that would be ideal.

Thanks!

-Stephanie

Keynote is a good presenation program. I use it regularly for out chuch evening services. I export the keynote file to Powerpoint. The only thing that needs to be change are any transitions when exported to Powerpoint. Keynote also lets you export your presentation for quicktime, and also lets you chose different settings or custom settings. Keynote should work for what you have described that you want it to do.
