Everywhere I need there to be Wifi[1] there is Wifi, but none of it is free, really.

Dalhousie *does* have WiFi - quite pervasive, in fact.

Kind of a junior question (I'm new), but how do you find wifi in your neighbouhood (i have a pb g4 with built in)?

tedj, yes, MUN students and faculty have to register their computers with Computing and Communications, but this takes only about 10 minutes. Then it's "Adio wires!"

go here, and download a nifty free little application called MacStumbler.
If there is Wi-Fi within receiving range of your Mac, it will let you know instantly.
