currently, i'm typing this on a powermac G5 tower, looking at a gorgeous new apple 20" LCD display.

i just finished playing with the new iMac G5, and i'm loving this place... i haven't been back here forever..

gotta go play with more toys..

nice.

Great day for a road trip DM. Isn't that iMac G5 gorgeous?? I can only imagine what that 20" is like... must be huge.

Any good deals?? My last visit to a Apple Store (Las Vegas), there were some great deals on a clearance table. Grabbed an iTrip mini. A few others (display models) like Digis, DVs, Airp Xpress. Make sure to look for sure... Anyhow, have fun!

H!

i couldn't covertly change all the screens to ehmac, but i did a couple.

the screens are beautiful.. and the imac g5s aren't as bad as i thought they would be.

as for deals, they had refurb apple monitors, both the old-style 20in and the newer style 20 and 23 inchers.

the old-style one was right under $1500 US, the other ones started at just under $1900, i think.

i also saw a multitude of refurb ipods and ibooks/powerbooks, more so than usual.

i guess they don't make them like they used to. even my new 15in albook's built in speaker's cutting out intermittently.

time for a trip to light computers..
