Red face help my ibook is crazy

hey my ibook will let me sign into my profile or the guests but my folders dont show up, its very slow, and then it usually right away or within 3 mins signs me back out to the sign in profile page wtf is going on im soo lost

My first guess would be that you renamed your home folder.

(I should add that OF COURSE your folders don's show up in the "Guest" account -- that's exactly what it's designed to do, give guests an account of their own so that they can't mess with other users' stuff!)

But regardless I'd say you have a serious problem there.

Back up the work you want to save before you do anything else.

I have some vague recollection of recent postings about the Guest account pooching the main account (Leopard only). Sorry I was not paying much attention when I read them.

Try a search on "Guest account"
