I have noticed recently that every time I open mail, I have unread messages in my sent box!! I am not sure why it is doing this, but every new message sent ends up in the box as unread, I have never seen this before.

I have looked through the preferences, but did not see anything that jumped out. Am I missing something here?

I have this happen occasionally with GMail (IMAP) when I send a message from GMail directly - are these messages you sent using Mail.app or web server?

They are sent from Mail.app but it is using our corporate IMAP server, so that could explain it. Might be something with IMAP
