Any suggestion for a good DVD-R to use on my superdrive? Some people do not sugget "Memorex" but it seems to be the most popular brand that you can get from Futureshop, London Drugs and Staples.

I am one of those people who would not suggest Memorex, I bought a 5 pack, and 2 of the discs wouldn't read in my DVD-RW Drive, tried them on my neighbours DVD-RW drive, and didn't work either. I too use Maxwell for Data, good brand.

Hope ya find the right one.

Eric

Thanks guys.
Is there any difference in performance when using DVD-R or DVD-R/W? with the superdrive?
I prefer to use -R/W since the disc can be re-use

It can be tougher to play -RW's in DVD players if that's something you're interested in doing.

I for one can vouch for Memorex -R disks. I've got a spindle and have had no trouble. Maxell -R disks are also good. Stay well away from the cheap eWorks label you may find at Futureshop or Best Buy. I batted 0 for 4 in a 50 pack and took them all back to Futureshop for a refund.
