recommend a good wireless pci card

Hi all,

can someone please recommend a reliable/compatible wireless pci card for my P3 computer? I'm trying to connect it to my AEBS, I've tried the following:

- D-Link RangeBooster G Desktop Adapter (WDA-2320)
- Linksys Wireless-g USB Adapter With Speedbooster

and it just wouldn't work even after changing my settings on the AEBS so that it is compatible with wireless b&g, as well as putting in the hex value of my WEP key.

Can someone please recommend a card that would work. Thanks.

So when you say you've got to the point of entering the WEP key, I guess the install, etc went fine.

Sounds like a range or interference issue. Do you have any 2.4ghz cordless phones in the house?

Otherwise you can upgrade the Antenna in the D-link:

TP-Link TL-ANT2405C 2.4GHz 5dBi Indoor Antenna in Canada at TigerDirect.ca

Or get a Wireless N adapter. Wireless N has a greater signal/range and MIMO technology (3 antennas).

If I get wireless N adapter would it work with my Pentium 3 pc?
